I just got off the phone with my mom who just spoke to the doctor. The doctor doesn't think Tony is going to make it. They will have another doctor later today give a second opinion.
Medically speaking, there doesn't seem to be any hope of recovery. Every time the swelling spikes, it is causing more damage and the spikes keep coming.
We cannot simply trust in the power of doctors to heal. Their power is limited. They cannot grant life, and this is out of their power to heal. HOWEVER, this is not beyond Jesus' power to heal. Jesus gets the last word. Pray for Tony now. He is in need of Jesus' healing power.
