I just got off the phone with mom and she says that Tony's "signs are where they want them to be." This is encouraging news, but he's is still in critical condition. The next couple days should tell us a lot.

14 hours into day 2. Meds still working to keep vitals and brain swelling under control. Still in critical condition.
ReplyDeleteHour 20, day 2. Brain swelling did increase some (as expected), they were able too control it with medication. Still critical but at the moment he is doing ok

ReplyDelete1 hour into day 3. Meds are still controlling swelling. Still critical. He will get a feeding tube today. If we get to Tuesday without insident they will try stopping meds which are sedating him and then wait to see if he comes out of the coma.
