We just talked to the doctor. They didn't do the scan last night, they decided to wait until he was more stable. they will do one today and bring a portable one to his room. They are just checking the positioning of the drain they put in to make sure they didn't hit any blood vessels.
He was getting a medication to keep his blood pressure up to keep the blood flowing to his brain. they have stopped that one. The doctor this morning said the swelling could last a couple of weeks and should peak around 5 or 6 days.
